Inquiring minds need to know what 303 load you were using, Nice Shooting! (next yo need to try one of Merit's adjustable apertures, and you can bring the front post into focus!) Ya know, my mom, a West Texas ranch gal, got banned from the deer lease after she popped two nice 8-pts in one evening with a Model 94 Centennial Saddle Ring Carbine in 30-30. That also ended the so-called "ladies' weekend" on the lease. "Game hog", I think, was the term the men used. Showing us those three fine pre-mil Fs headed for the field somehow brought that story to my mind....
