I'll be using either a T/C Encore in 25-06 or my Winchester 670A in 30-06.

Have a 700 KS in 280 that I picked up a couple of years ago that has not seen blood yet. Warmed up my 700 Hart barreled 270 Roy for a change of luck if I have not found hair in the first week.

Taking the .300 Savage, with a .308 Savage as a backup. Dropped an 8 point in it's tracks last year with the .300 at about 35 yards. Looks like we'll have a tracking snow this year up in the mountains near Benezett.

Heading to 3A with the Sako AV 25-06 or the Remington 700 CDL 243, both left handed of course. I'm going to hit the range this morning for a last zero check although I have no doubt in either 'stick. New plan......243CDL gets first ups. 25-06 pizzed me off. It was shooting a few inches high at 200yds. I cranked it down and got it squared away but I lost some confidence. It was windy as hell and raining at the range so I didn't want to mess too much with it. In a pinch, it'd be fine. I'll take the NULA 300WSM as relief pitcher. Good luck guys & gals.

Taking the savage 99 out. its not an old school 99, got the new hitech clip feed. Its in an old school caliber, 358 win. Never shot anything but paper with it so looking forward to seeing what it will do to a deer, besides just kill it.
God bless, and be safe.

This will be my first PA hunt in several years. I couldn't go last year as I was moving into a new home at the time. I will be using a Remington 600 Mohawk in 308 Win. with an old Leupold M8 6x scope. Good old cheap Federal Power-Shok ammo gave me 2 three shot groups under 3/4" Glad very to back in Pa hunting. Deer hunting in Ga. was unsuccessful for me and I don't care to join a hunting club !!!

my replies to:
Lawdwaz and NJelksmacker
about Pa hunters scoping people are NOT directed at them!!! as i do not know them! nor hunt with them SORRY!
I am simply trying to send a message to those that do!!!
get a pair of binoculars and dont scope other hunters.
and it happens ALOT! and not a good idea...
