Britney we received from moms co-worker. We were her 4th home in her first 9 months. Too much dog to handle for older folks with health problems and couples with kids.

Glad things didn't work out with those other families. Best damned dog I've ever met. Smart, loyal, and very protective of her turf.

No hunting photos but she is a cold blooded killer in the field despite very little training. She is the type of dog that could hunt evey day of the year and still want more field time.

Dont recall that...the only one of those I remember was Northern Dave teaching his new dog to swim

Here is ours. She is past the tough stage.Being 14, it's mostly sleeping on the couch, but she still likes to go for rides and barks at cattle she sees along the road in pastures.

I'm about 2 hours away from pulling the trigger on a English yellow lab that can be flown to me via Reagan National on the 29th.

I could have done it a hour ago but I'm waffling as to whether I should tell Karen. Well, I did tell her I bought her a hardwood floor steam cleaner which is something she's wanted. I left out the reason for buying it for her now,though.

I sense a "simple misunderstanding" discussion in my near future.

As of mid-summer, my new mantra at work has become "It's better to ask forgiveness....." Embrace it, Bob !

Lab/Shar-pei mix bro & sis. The blonde takes birds and squirrels off the feeder real regular, territorial as hell. The old boy just lays and watches her, nothing excites him but the grandkids or the neighbors female lab.


Don`t hunt for anything but a handout or heat source this time of year though

I had to put my boston down 3 years ago, buddy was a 3 generation dog, he was my grandpas, and when he passed my dad got him, then when dad passed i got him. I cryed like a baby when they gave him that shot.

My bird hunting pard has an English lab, a chocolate. Awesome dog. Birdy as all get out with tons of drive. Great in camp as well.

If only obviously.......Ya better post some pics when ya get your new buddy!

My little sweetheart of a bulldog. She loves everyone. Scared of her own shadow but shes a good girl and very vocal when she doesn't like something, which is perfect because she lets my boys and me know...


The one on the right is my old man, a pound pup and best dog ever. His name is Ojos as he has a blue eye and a brown eye. I know with out a doubt that if anyone breaks in and tries to get to my family when he is home and I am not, they will leave with some stiches. Absolutely a great dog. He's getting up there at nearly 9 years old, and I have to watch him around kids he doesn't know as he is running low on patience but still a amazing dog!

Yes, you sure have to watch those vicious yellow labs!
