Here we go. This isn't good. This is breaking right now. I was climbing out of my tree stand about 9:45 AM and heard lots of sirens. This is a couple towns North of me. Newtown Ct. School Shooting

There's a car parked out in the front of the school that's surrounded by yellow tape. It appears somebody drove there.
It's disgusting beyond belief that somebody would go into a K through 4 elementary school and start shooting.

CNN says shooter's dead and 3 injured have been transported to hospital, no word on their condition.
You can bet dollars to donuts it's a child custody at Christmas deal gone bad...

I live very close to the school. One student is dead and the shooter is dead. Several others have been shot according to a friend of mine.

When are parents going to smarten up and realize that gun free zones are a target rich enviroment. How many parents would pay to have trained and armed teachers at there kids school? My bet, Many Many!!!!

In this world, I am not sure why there aren't armed guards at most public places. Schools, shopping malls, theatres, etc.

But here's the bottom line - another target rich environment with NO firearms allowed on campus - teachers/kids - can't protect themselves...
