I turned the news off, some things are just to sorrowful
Then I do think some venting on other threads has helped me to escape the pain I feel, if even for a little while.
So sad, I have not the words to begin to express it.

What a selfish and cowardly act.

I cannot begin to imagine what the parents of the murdered children are going through.

Even from a distance, I've had to dry my eyes more than once today.

Wrong. Federal firearms laws regarding transactions are there in black and white and apply in every state.

Well like I said earlier somewhere on this forum, I went up to the school today and demanded the principal, I wanted to know how my tax dollars were being used to protect my kids.

We spoke for 20 minutes

I got no good answers

Hell they don't even lock all the doors at the school. I walked right in.

And there are laws regarding private sales. Age, residency requirements, not being aware of felony convictions... any of that ring a bell?

There exist rules on private transactions regardless of what you believe TRH. Read them sometime.

I think you did just fine. Kids need to know that there is right and wrong and even good and evil in this world and that we all need to work for whats right and good and its never too early to know this. Hang in there man and keep up the good work.

Brother is in NJ. Shooter had his I.D. Guns where owned by the mother who was also killed. Local officials made mention of mental illness, but I did not hear who they where speaking of.

I've waited to weigh in. Partly because as a human I cannot fathom how someone could execute children like that.

As a cop all I can think is I wish I could have been there to stop it.

I hugged my step daughter a little tighter and longer before I left for work tonight. God bless those little angels.

For most private sales of most firearms, no regulations apply.Too late.

First, my thoughts and prayers go out to the families who lost loved ones in this tragedy. I, like everyone else, can't wrap my mind around this. I have 4 kids between 2 and 12 years of age and cannot fathom the loss of one, no matter the circumstances. I don't know how the people will pickup the pieces, but I pray that they will find the path. I hope that the murderer and his soul finds nothing but pain and suffering on the other side. Please remember to hold your family tight tonight and always.

You are wrong TRH. There are FEDERAL regulations concerning all transactions including FTF private sales. Age and residency being two easy ones to understand... for most.
