Well IMHO only, Dorner's truck was already parked on the side of the road, at Big Bear, before any of the shootings occurred. He is in someone else's car, which "is" not in his name. LAPD has no idea what he is driving. They looked it up, started shooting all blue trucks. He's was not in a blue truck.
All he had to do was drive the 80 miles in an unknown auto, start his truck on fire and drive 80 miles back to LA. 100's of LEO's tied up on the mountain looking.
He's in LA somewhere in an unknown auto outside of some motel.

We don't have (m)any rights in America anymore, do we? It's all about SWAT trained and attired police and their justifiable fear. Well guess the hell what? WE have fears too, and it's mostly about the out of control people who are supposed to be protecting and serving us, the TAXPAYERS supporting and electing them. I think some large-scale firings, recall elections, and impeachment(s) are in order. It's time to clean this sh*t up and send these people back to making a living in a position that affords them no opportunity to Lord their will over the populace anymore.

Except for a small % of LEO's, who here thinks these are just isolated incidents which could only happen in LA?
Not me. With the attitudes pervasive in the American police culture, just about any police force will start shooting with disregard for innocent, non-police officer, human life, under like circumstances. Raise the temps a little more, and they'll start pulling triggers on "civilians" who look at them sideways, just in case.
It's our obligation to throw our arms up and pea ourselves when SWAT blows our door down.
Not an obligation really, but if you don't, I guarantee that you, your wife, your kids & your dog will all be dead.........maybe even have your house burned down along with all your other family & friend's houses as well.

and don't forget, the cops WILL find kiddie porn on your computer. That seems to happen in every case.

Usually, they kill your dog as a matter of course, so there's virtually no longer any way to cooperate with the warrant in such a way as to protect a loved canine family member. The very purpose of requiring a warrant in the first place was to give everyone an opportunity to behave in such a way as to prevent violence under the presumption that all parties involved are completely innocent of any charge. SWAT, the way it's come to be routinely employed, essentially nullifies that purpose.
In those unfortunate miss identification shootings, they aren't mentioning all the sprayed bullets that hit trees, other vehicles, houses, and what-not in the area! At least not much... paper mentioned it with one sentence.
