I just picked up some once fired brass from a guy that works in a ballistics lab and he says the barnes headstamp is rem made. I weighed it and it perfectly matches rem on wt.

Why don't you call barnes. You should not mix head stamps.

As much as I hate to say it, weigh the stuff. That's the reason for segregating brass.

So with Barnes and Sierra being owned by the same parent company now, and you open a box of Barnes ammo, it has Sierra headstamp.
And who makes Sierra rifle brass?

Remington doesn't own Barnes anymore. Barnes is now owned by Sierra. I don't think they are getting their brass from Remington anymore.

Leaving out Lapua, Nosler, Peterson and the other boutique brass manufacturers and considering only the big guys like Remington, Winchester, Federal, etc who makes the “best” brass in their factory loads?

So, does Sierra obtain their brass from a single supplier? Anybody know?

Remington doesn't own Barnes anymore. Barnes is now owned by Sierra. I don't think they are getting their brass from Remington anymore. They were in 2013 when he posted that.
