Never hunted them, but I did note that there was a young bull at Wilderness.

i saw it aswell

The one across the road from where we hunted?

I saw him a couple times, the first time he was very skittish. He was alone and out from the woods by about 150 yards, but he ran like a SOB when he saw me rounding the corner. The second time he was with a bunch of other critters and quite aways back from the fence. Could have been two different ones also??

I'da plugged 'em........

One badddd azzzzzz mofo!

In this picture below is my pig (ain't she a beauty!) in the middle and two others. The one on the left I know nothing about, the one on the right had a chance encounter with a madman!

The hired hand was scratching his 3 day growth and trying to figure out WTF happened to one of his most cooperative winter friends. I eased up along side him and asked what the hell happened to that pig? He said "I don't know for sure but it looks like the infamous [bleep] is back in town". I nodded in agreement and we both stood silent for a moment. Kind of an uneasy understanding knowing that the man formerly know as rockchucker, now [bleep] still had two days to go.............

This one still stands, rockchucker.

Myself, I tend to like basic. I'm with you on the fiber optic front sights, but it appears they dovetailed the slide so replacing that one will be no trouble.

has the two features i cared about, a good sized beaver tail grip safety to keep the hammer from cutting me up and a halfway decent trigger.....actually for being a bottom end 1911 im very surprised by the trigger.....slide to frame fit is remarkably tight and smooth aswell....

Modern manufacturing techniques have made tight slide to frame fits and decent triggers as well as many things that we used to call upgrades quite standard on just about all 1911's out there. I dare to say that todays $600 1911's will shoot right along with the highest end gunsmith tweaked custom pistols of a generation ago. I remember reading that a finely tuned 1911 ought to be able to print 2.5 inch groups at 25 yards. Today most out of the box 1911's will do that and better assuming decent ammunition and the ammo has come a long ways, as well.

I predict much happiness and piggie blod for you and your new toy.

I was looking at the Dan Wesson Razorback 10mm. Looks like a nice pistol but not heard much about it.
