Just bought 2 100-round packs of CCI mini-mag at my local gun shop, for $13.00. That's 6.5 cents per round.

Few questions before I commit to buy the lot?
1. Are these brick pregnant? If so how many babies per brick will I get?
2. Are these 14 or 24 karat gold?
3. Are these the laser guided type?

I agree it's too much, and don't care if I sell it or not, but people are paying those prices on other sites without negative interference. Who know's it might be a deal in 12 months.

If you feel that the ammo situation is over I fear you are sadly mistaken. Sure would be nice but it ain't happenin'. Btw Cooperfan, it is certainly your right to ask any ammount for your goods and I support that right but you will recieve nothing but animosity here. This is a forum full of rude, crude operators and it just is what it is.

I have no prolem with his price, he has the right to ask what he wants. I'm glad I tought ahead years ago, I have more 22's than most distributers have in 6 months, thats why I'm giving away 20 bricks to a youth shooting club. BTW have to the 31st to get your paper work in. Good luck with your sale. http://24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/7597512/1

I still have about eight or nine bricks of remingtons i bought way back when from Farm & Fleet at 8.95 a brick. This will last me the rest of MY life. I also have 100 lbs of rice along with other non-perishaible commodities. Come prepared for the menacing future! Also sunk a sand point well for water when my generater finally runs out of go juice!

I went to a gun show last weekend, started talking to the owner of the local gun shop about the ammo shortage. I mentioned I had two boxes of Remington 525 Golden Bullets and 1000 round of Federal 223 I could sell him if he was interested. Without hesitation he offered me $700 for ammo I had purched for $312 just a few month ago. I took it and smiled all the way home.

Anywhere that has a brick of 22 LR around here is selling them as fast as they put them out for between $65.00 and $75.00/brick.
Why should he sell for a lot less? He can't replace the ammo for his asking price.

Well, I have to tell you that right now Brucie's stash of bricks is worth $65.00 each. Little barrel, if you wanted mine you would pay that, but I'm not selling.

Let me tell you a little secret. This place if full of some pretty damn decent folks. In the time I've been here, I've seen enough generosity to fill a couple arks. If the guy wants to charge scalpers prices on things he has the right to do it, but be warned some of us won't sit idly by without offering up some abrasiveness. He'd have much better luck over on Gunbroker or other online auction sites.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

What's the problem? People are just voicing an opinion. That shouldn't bother you. he must be a democrat........can't take free speech....

Whatever the cost, it still pisses off the democrats that there is ammo among us.

Some have even accused this fellow of screwing someone over. I'd like to know who, and how he did it. He's got an asking price, but that isn't necessarily going to be his getting price. But if it is, somebody must think it's fair enough. I'm guessing there's probably not going to be any names of his victims forthcoming, eh?

You all are complaining about capitalism?
Is it a defective product? Is the seller a known problem? Can you recommend a source for getting it cheaper? All good, useful interjections.
You don't like the sale price? You don't buy it.

You don't like the sale price? You don't buy it. Lots of sellers here will be remembered when this is all over. Just think back, remember, and don't buy anything. Nothing wrong with that huh? It's our right to use our money as we see fit.

You all are complaining about capitalism? The true capitalists are the retailers and brick-&-mortar shops that can't keep it in stock at retail or discount prices because there are bottom suckers out there that buy it all up at retail or discount prices only to resale at a ridiculous profit because they know these are desperate times and unfortunately, there are desperate people out there. Nothing wrong with doing it in a normal economy as it pertains to gun-related items, but our economy is anything but normal thanks to our dumbass politicians that want to ban anything that normal people, i.e: conservatives, want to possess or have or do. On top of that, everybody knows that 22LR is a favorite for kids and parent/kid outings. And ammo can't be had now because of all of the afore-mentioned bottom feeders out to make a quick and easy buck at the expense of kids having fun and parents spending some quality time with their kids. My dad bought me my first rifle, a 22, about 40 years ago. I still have it and I have MANY great memories of time spent with Dad shooting or just talking about guns or going to gun shows. Dads and kids should still be able to make those same kinds of memories. I'm glad you're fine with it. It's not affecting me or my son or my daughter personally, but it kills me to think that it is affecting many. Thanks for asking.

Glad you got the point. You can check your for sale thread and see if I made any comments. I'm very positive that you will not find any from me. I merely joined in pointing out the hypocrisy here and then simply answered a question that was asked. Have a good Easter weekend.
ETA: If you bought it at $50 and sold it at $50+ shipping, I don't see how you could possibly think that I was talking about you. Please read my comments again. Thanks.

Thats not I was really trying to get at. Why do a select few on here think they have a right to [bleep] on someones post, they have the right to ask any price they want, if they can get it great. If you read the post dont like the price move on, no need to make a comment, or [bleep] on his post.

So you did indeed miss my point. My point was that he schitted on another poster that was trying to sell 22 ammo for the same price he now is. And then he gets butthurt when others do the same to him.
DAMMIT!
I'm out.

I missed his post about that, if he [bleep] on someone else post about prices on 22's and then does the same thing then he has no right to get all upset about it or even contact Rick about it, whats good for the goose is good for the gander

I'm with ya, 257. I only commented after it was shown that he bitched about $50 dollar bricks, the day before. Ask whatever you want for your bricks boys, I don't need any. If you find someone willing to pay $70......go for it. But don't be a hypocrite in the process.

I will post for the last time on this: Yes I thought the other poster was high at $50.00, but guess what. He got it. After doing some looking around on GB and other sites, it seemed to be going for more than that. I am sitting on 9 bricks, that don't really shoot well in any of my rifles. I thought if the market bared $60.00 than I would try. Not really caring if they sold or not because I have 2 little girls at home that can shoot for years on 5000 rounds. I guess in the process I have somehow ruined my reputation on this site, which if I would of thought would happen I would have never made the post. I think the best thing to do is to have the mods remove the listing and let's enjoy the Easter weekend.

Nah, you'll be fine. If you want them sold, put them on a 1 day auction on GB. Make sure you use the featured auction thingy to put it in the top action lines. It will sell and you won't have to eat freight. There are alotta sheep on there.

Toss em on GB and reap the rewards of not being caught with your pants down. I learned my lesson during the first ammo shortage.

I had seen this post very early One of the first posts was if you dont like his price move on by another member I agreed with that
A couple weeks ago I think he would have got his price I think the only mistake was timing
I shared a bit of 22lr with a friend and he told a few folks and holy cow I was getting offers on my 22 I could not believe. I only shared with a couple who said they would replace when they could because I knew them. Why does 350Rem ammo go fast and for good $$ here on the fire there is not lots of it and guys want it. What would used computor equipt not nobody wants it Supply and demand
Cooperfan says SE Michigan some PMs I got from the Detroit area would make me believe there was NO 22 in that area
Hope others will learn the lesson dont wait till the day you need it have some ammo around
Guys this is America we are many things including Capitolists

Don't like the price - don't buy. If every American acted this way with our government we wouldn't have the theives and charletans that we have now controlling our lives and keeping us under their thumb. Don't like it - don't do it!
Imagine what would happen in all state capitols and DC if every hunter in America decided that they would just call in sick for one week - skip a week - then call in sick again. The country would almost grind to a stop, the crooked officials would - MAYBE - understand that we are their employers. The founders were men of honor "And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."
What would happen if We the People acted as if we valued this nation as they did - all we would need to risk is our consumer junk. If every hunter quit his or her job we could justr stand back and wait untilk the rotten tomatoes in government exposed themselves. In less than a year we could re-establish our Constitutional govermnent and live in a fr4ee nation once again.

I bought silver eagles in 08&09 for $13 per ounce. I guess if I want to sell them today I shouldn't ask more than that.

Anyone with a $600 RRA A2 NM out there?
How about a $700 M1a NM??
All of you are [bleep]' scalpers. (or douche bags)

Currently it seems that most people on the board want someone else to sell their goods for less than they are worth, but don't try to get them to sell their own goods.
