Yep - sorry for your loss. Non-pet owners simply cannot fathom these losses.

I had a Blue Heeler, Eureka/'Reka, for 13 years until her death. Lately, I've been seeing another Blue at the soccer park where my son plays and it brings back memories of her flying through the air catching the frisbee.

So sorry you lost such a good friend.

I hate them too. I have read bunches of these over the years and hated every one including this one.

Kind of interisting. We burried Mick back by the old cotten cabin, the wall tent we lived in for the first two and a half years while we built the farm. He loved the place so that is where we put him. My daughter is planting mint over him because it does well in our woods and she coule never keep him form laying inher mint beds.

Anyway the pup went with us and watched. He came back to out cottage and is now laying on the porch wered Mick always layed.

Sorry for your loss Scott, good dogs can really put a hole in your heart when they die.

I simply cannot wrap my head around anyone abusing any animal and especially a dog. You gave him a great life and he went to his grave knowing it and appreciating it. Great Pics and it brings back a lot of memories for me as well.

Dang, I hate these threads! Sorry to see your old man go, Scott. You guys sure did right by him.

Got a soon to be 14-years-old Aussie. She's healthy and happy, but realistically reaching the end of her life. (However, the last Aussie that my wife had lived to be 18, so she may outlive me!)

I am very sad for your loss. Mick sounded like the dog that we all want and love dearly.

I lost my black lab "Bebe" a couple months ago, and I sometimes think she is still in the house. I feel for you Scott.

Sorry to hear it, but you know Mick truly appreciated those last six years. He was a handsome dog.

So sorry for your loss. He was a fine looking boy! I wish they had longer lives, my heart breaks for all of them.

He had a good home with some of the finest parents!
