ND's licensing prices are due to increase soon. Was thinking of writing my state congress critters in support of such a thing. What does your state do?

Wyo. does but only for fish, small game and birds.. That's what I was thinking would be the norm - anything that doesn't require a lottery or a Federal stamp....

I bought an Idaho lifetime hunting and fishing license after graduating from the U of I...can't remember the price but it was well worth it. Mainly because I can put in for draws there every year without buying a new license first, plus I bird hunt there every year. I have to pay non-resident prices for big game tags, but I never have to buy a license there again, and that's well over $100 a yearly pop for non-residents.

In Idaho, if you buy it while quite young it can be worth it, particularly if you move out of state but come back to hunt. For many of us long time residents, though, it's too expensive, especially since we can get a Sr license at 65 that's much cheaper.

Oklahoma Hunting/Fishing $775
Includes: deer tags, fur bearers license, turkey tags...
Also if you move out of state you retain your hunting privileges.
I'm about to move to TX and plan on getting one there also.

Turn 60 (62?) in Alaska, you get one for $5. I forget the qualifying age, as I are one/got one.... now if I can just remember where I put it...

Colorado is too greedy to have it. Although I do get a free fishing license as a senior.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a hunting license and that's pretty close.

Georgia does it. I paid $500 for mine about 8 years ago. It has since paid for it self. If you by before 16 they are $300 (I think) I bought my son one for his 16th birhday.
Most people don't really want the truth.
They just want constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth.

Indiana used to and still recognizes those that bought them, but they no longer offer them. Yep, and I got one. Bought it back when they were $525....didn't take long and they went to $800 something or other then on to I think something like $1600?? Haven't bought a tag for 12 yrs or better...best hunting investment I ever made...besides my guns.
