I just went throught there its nice now. August is going to be a bear. Phoenix we ain't. Tucson we ain't. El Paso we ain't. The Sahara we ain't. Cool we are. August here will probably be nicer than wherever you are at the time. Come see for yourself.

Unless you join the party, you will never know just HOW COOL the CampFire Shindigs are. I seem to meet the nicest people there, instantly dear friends, who were strangers before. This is one of the big opportunities the 24HCF folks have created. Don't miss it.

Judy and the kids are planning on going, me, well depends on what is going on the farm at that time. � When Judy's around, does anybody notice whether you are?  No,I'm not noticed,that gives me the chance to sneak away and do something fun.

Those who are interested in our now rather regular summer gathering near Quemado, New Mexico should mark the calendar for August 9-11, 2013. All possessed of the Campfire spirit are welcome to the shootin', discussin', rememberin', and good eatin' (and fishin' for those so inclined).
Chime in if you are interested and if you have questions, ideas, suggestions, etc. Can I come? I promise that I'll try to behave!  Even if one or two opt to bunk in the shack at 17 Church Street, I won't snore. And I won't make any serious passes at any of the honeys whom I flirt with. Or let my drool drop onto anybody's shootin' arns. 'Pon my honor as a certified Dirty Ol' Man! Please, can I? Pretty please?

If flying is a better option for you than driving, let us know early.
We've got fellows driving-in from in, near, or through the cities where the major airline terminals are � Phoenix, Albuquerque, Tucson, El Paso � so hooking a ride the rest of the way will be dog-easy � if you let us know well ahead of time.
Just post something here, and you'll get posts or PM replies from folks in the areas that I've listed.
Just be sure to do it early.
If you fly here, you may also want to consider shipping bulky or sensitive baggage by UPS or FedEx days ahead of flight time. Feel free to ship to my address � c/o Ken Howell; 17 Church Street; Quemado, NM 87829. The Country Store here in Quemado handles such out-going shipments. So you'd be able to fly here and back with the minimum of carry-on stuff to bother with.

Its looking like i'll be leaving to go to Turkey AGAIN in December or January and hopefully heading to Great Falls MT after a year and half. If anyone needs a ride from the airport in ABQ or would like to carpool let me know. Would love to carpool down with someone. Jon

I am figuring on staying at the Largo this go 'round. Brandy and my daughter are planning on attending so that is the decider there.
I think my cousin Colin and his missus will be there as well.
