If we've had enough rain I might bring my small smoker/grill. I could put on some smoked hot links and boudain, and maybe burgers for dinner probably Saturday.

I finally found a place that makes good, fresh boudain daily here in Phoenix. I smoke over pecan wood with a bit of lump charcoal to control the heat until it takes a nice color from the smoke. He will eat anything and everything and brag on all of it. Such a contest would be unfair anyway � I can neither chew nor swallow, so I can't be a judge.  Drooling from afar � the best that I can manage � is no qualification. (I drool all the time anyway.)

Well,Ed can be useful some where else,like chopping the wood or send him into Soccoro for steaks and such. While he is gone have the contest. Or,even put Ed into the grillin' contest himself,he can grill PB&J sandwiches.

It may well...
I am just getting a long sitting rifle up and going. Quemado gave me a reason. Finally scoped a slick little Mauser custom .243 Win. Its a short action, but a large ring 98 in a pretty nice stick of wood.

Scott, sounds like you are just full of it with that K Hornet talk.
For all - Dennis and I have yet to get together and have the shoots fully planned - will be doing that soon so you all can get prepped. But, for now, who knows the distance the PD shoot might be???
