It was weird, NOBODY from out of town brought their own spotting scope to the last shoot.
NOBODY. � I'd already given mine away, and forgot to bring my big binocs. And forgot that I still had this ancient Zeiss spotting scope. Somebody'll hafta remind me. Remembering important things at the last minute isn't one of my strongest skills. 'Tain't easy bein' senile!

Note to self, bring Nikon spotting scope.
I should also bring the Oehler 35P, (which I've never used) to see if anyone wants to buy it.

My eyeballs are calibrated in squints, the narrowest known distance.  My rifles aren't calibrated at all. They just put the bullet wherever it's pointed. Funny, that. As to "how far?", it could be ten feet, it could be 300 yards. Somewhere between Ken's estimates would be correct, so if you're going to practice beforehand, you'd best be getting busy. I know I'm going to have to practice. There's some mighty fine shooters coming to this gathering! Ed

Even with you shooting a borrowed rifle I'm going to have to practice. When curdog4570 unlimbers his prairie dog rifles we will all start getting a case of the blues. Ed
