It's amazing how many noises you start to hear when you're by yourself (especially at night.."night noises") NRA Life,Endowment,Patron or Benefactor since '72.

Pugs Campfire Ranger Joined: May 2005 Posts: 17,147 Likes: 2 Freedom	Congrats Doc. I soloed in a Piper Tomahawk (Traumahawk!) back in 85 but it came to finish the private or pay for school. I could easily get sucked into civilian flying as a hobby but I'm afraid it would be an obsession quickly and that might impact the other hobbies. Beside's, flying around DC in a 56,000 lb EA-6B was a pain in the ass. Can't imagine dealing with the restrictions on my own. It's going to have to wait for retirement in NH. I don't miss the Navy but I miss flying every day. As far as planes I'm thinking Maule M-5. If something on the internet makes you angry the odds are you're being manipulated

It's not a V-tail Bonanza. Hard to overload a Beaver but not impossible, obviously. Fuselage held up pretty well to the crash. That's encouraging.
