Think I'm rolling with a Manners for my next stock!! Kinda what I've been thinking too. I've considered it, but from web-viewing their stocks none of them really catch my eye as what I like in a hunting stock. The MCS-SL is closest... I'm starting to think it's hard to not go with a Montana and have it rebarreled if I'm wanting a different flavor...or go with a Forbes.

Got the email from Rick that my stock is ready to ship on Wednesday. Paid for it yesterday. Now waiting for the UPS truck! Ordered December 27th.
Winchester Hunter (edge) for 300 wsm build.

Think I'm rolling with a Manners for my next stock!! Kinda what I've been thinking too. Don't do it for delivery time. I'm not complaining, just some facts. McMillan - ordered Dec 31. Still waiting. Manners - ordered Feb 15, quoted 6 weeks (1st wk in June). Still waiting. The stocks were ordered 45 days apart. Betting I get the McMillan first. Total wait for McMillan will probably be longer, but not enough to matter. My interest in Manners is the mini chassis and the fact that the stock with the chassis weighs the same as a swirly.

Ok, Stocky's just emailed McMillan says my Edge will ship today or next week. I am hopeful, but not holding my breathe. I used to check 24 Hour a few times a day, but now even more with hope Rick will tell me my Mtn Edge fill will be shipping. Maybe these stocks are real. I am beginning to believe they are a myth like unicorns or something.....

Hi Guys:
Had ankle surgery and have been on pain meds for a week. I don't do well on them. I am back in the office tomorrow. Staples came out today and I'm switching to high doses of ibuprofen. Pain meds = nausea here. No good.
