The first three times I read through this post I laughed so hard I couldn't type. It just keeps getting better. I think "Skid Mark" is it for that one. I just don't know what else to say.......damn that's ugly.

I think this ones going back to McM.... Spoil sport! I'd so be keeping that stock as is even if for the comedy factor alone. It's still a great stock.

I know. I've had a few email conversations with them. I'm still of the opinion that it could be done right. I've looked at several flames on here and there are lots of dark to light combos.

If you do let them fix it, please keep it long enough to flame a doe first! That way the 'hero pic' will be the gift that keeps on giving.

They've put some offers on the table, but ultimately I have to accept responsibility. Flames and Swirls are custom stocks made to our orders. These are the colors I wanted and the colors I got.
I've given it more thought and I'm keeping it. Trophy pics will surface in the future....

If you're not happy with it, sell it here. There is obviously interest, and then you can get what you really wanted.

Ya know, that may be the very first theft-proof rifle device I've ever seen. Who the heck would take it??

The McSh!tstick is up and running. Dropped a 243 in it and mounted a 6x42. It's shooting the 80TTSX's into little groups. Time to fill an ark...

I think it would look pretty good with graphite black.

Sam -- you nailed it with your Wiley Coyote comment earlier. Every time I look at the stock, I see the image and think about Roadrunner cartoons...

Darrik, that looks a lot better with that 243 in it... +1. You need a paint horse to go with it (grins). I look forward to the trophy pics!
