Specs: No-prefix 700 action Bolt fluting/lightening by Kampfeld Chad Dixon truing/etc. #3 Brux fluted and cut to 23" with 5/8x24 threads Sniper Gray Cerakote Stock is Gray with Black specks

Thanks. Flutes are deep. I had to change my stock order from a gelcoat KS to an Edge Classic because they left 2" of shank versus the 1" I requested. But it turned out good and balance is very good with balance point at the forward edge of the front action screw.

It looks good but does it shoot? If it's as good as my other 2 Dixon rifles, it'll shoot. I can't wait to get it out to the lease. Unfortunately, I just moved and all of my reloading stuff is in boxes. But I have a good supply of A-Maxes and Rel 22somewhere!

Nice stick! Huh...weighs about 3 oz less than mine, similarly configured. My Rock #3 barrel isn't fluted, could explain part of the difference. And my bolt handle isn't hollowed. And whatever--mine balances great as configured, I'm sure yours does also. Looks good with the sniper grey Cerakote--I wondered what grey with black specs would look like with "other than stainless" colored. Stainless with grey/black specs:
