Finally got the McMillan Classic Edge I ordered in May. And it ended up lighter than I expected at 7 lbs 5 oz with VXIII 3.5-10x in Talley Ltwt's. Thanks. Flutes are deep. I had to change my stock order from a gelcoat KS to an Edge Classic because they left 2" of shank versus the 1" I requested. It looks good but does it shoot? If it's as good as my other 2 Dixon rifles, it'll shoot. I can't wait to get it out to the lease. Unfortunately, I just moved and all of my reloading stuff is in boxes. But I have a good supply of A-Maxes and Rel 22���somewhere!

Which chamber reamer did you use 280 Rem AI or 280 Improved SAAMI?

Nice stick! Huh...weighs about 3 oz less than mine, similarly configured. My Rock #3 barrel isn't fluted, could explain part of the difference. And my bolt handle isn't hollowed. And whatever--mine balances great as configured, I'm sure yours does also. Looks good with the sniper grey Cerakote--I wondered what grey with black specs would look like with "other than stainless" colored. A-max's & 22 is a great place to start! I am sold on Brux barrels. I have one a 243AI and one coming on a 223AI.
