Beauties!! No disrespect, but the lines of the other 4 rifles make the Sako look chubby.

In my opinion Armslist is the firearms Craigslist.......full of fraud. I've found several guns on armslist that were also on Gunbroker, but at a reduced price. I know Gunbroker isn't perfect, but at least there's some checks and balances. I won't consider anything on Armslist that I can't do a face to face purchase. Call that guy with the Sako on Armslist and tell him you're in the area and would like to look at it. Betcha he'll have an excuse why you can't meet.

I actually have no interest in this gun. Was just posting an FYI. If I was interested, I would not be at this point as you cannot be certain how the fraud may or may not impact taking ownership of the gun....

From left to right
9.3x62 on a Mauser action
6.5x55 on a Mauser action
Sako 280
7x57 on a ruger action
350 rem on a Montana action

The two mausers were done by the late Gary Stiles. He was working on a 8x57 for me at the time of his passing. He was a great friend and is still missed!
The Sako actually handles great despite the look in the pic
The 7x57 was picked up used and came from Canada.
The 350 was built by rod Rogers of Serengeti rifles.

Those two Mauser's are treasures! They have a "just right" look to them.

Roscoe, was the LH Sako in 280 a factory build?

I have never seen one in 280!

I have the same gun in 308 and it handles very very well.

I really would love to see a photo essay on that collection of lefty Mannlichers. Getting a detailed look at them would be great.

The Sako is indeed a factory rifle. I have never seen another like it. My favorite of the bunch is the 9.3x62. It has a perfect balance and feel. I have several other photos of these guns posted on AR. Will have to go back several years to find them.
I don't have much time to spend on forums these days. Life has gotten complicated.

Wow, those are beautiful rifles and in a great selection of calibers. Well done.

That may well be more left handed mannlichers in one photo than I may have ever seen.

The price is outrageous, but, this rifle keeps haunting me. Wish someone would buy it so I didn't keep tripping over it on GB.
