You guys eat the stuff? A guy at work made a trip to the cheese factory north of here and brought me by a bag of "Squeeky Cheese". Can't say it's bad, but can't say I'd make a 150 mile round trip for it either.

I like cheese curds. I don't know about making a big trip for it, but squeaky cheese is good!

Curds are great. Battered and deep fried even better.

Hard to grow up in Minnesota or Sisconnie and not be addicted to cheese curds. Mommas give these to their babes in stead of the bottle up here, fercryinoutloud.

Love 'em. They make them locally, but the ones our relatives send from Wisconsin are the best

Love squeakers. They lose the squeakiness within a day or maybe two and become merely natural cheese lumps, good but no squeak.

A local dairy makes cheese on the farm and they sell little tubs of these curds labeled "Squeakers." My wife and I drive out of our way to buy them. Last time there I asked the gal how fresh they were and her eyes lit up. "Wait just a minute," she said. She went in the back and got a fresh batch right out of the process, super squeaky. She appreciated a con-oh-sewer of squeakers.

Better. Real cheese. Tillamoook is for us poor souls in the northwest who don't know what good cheese really is. Seriously can't get that kind of stuff out here. The cheese made from CA cows is entirely different than that of WI cows- at least to me. WI cheddar melts in your mouth. Closest thing I have seen out here is Boar's Head Sharp Cheddar and if I remember right it comes from WI.

It's a Wisconsin thing. White Cheddar is the only way.

ETA: You can actually get them out here is you find an A&W "drive-in"/fast food joint.
