I tried it a few times.
,..actually put together a pretty nice cumulative GPA after I decided to be serious about it.
But I decided to start kickin' around machine shops along the way to make pocket money, and got bit by the Bridgeport bug.
That,...and the fact that the people I met working in the machine shops seemed to have a lot more in common with me than the people I met in college.
No regrets.
I didn't get rich,..but I learned how to operate a lot of fun toys.
Given my disposition and interests, I don't think a college degree could have made me any happier.
