As of now, he's a polling front runner.

Yep. Point taken but I knew that going in with the comment.
It's why I made a point of saying I'm not concerned with 2 1/2 years from now. I'm concerned with 8 months from now.

I'm concerned 20 years ago. There's little point in being concerned now. All that's left to do is get braced for it.

We don't agree on that.

We don't agree on that. It all has to play out at this point. There's no good reason to fret about it. The die has been cast. Politics can't even pretend to fix it. In fact, the political establishment is responsible for it.

Seriously. What if it's between a Bush and a Clinton?

It looks like America may Drag Mr. Bush into the political arena. If he does run, can he beat Hillary? Proof that the republicans are on the same side as the democrats. Mike Yep. Sad isn't it? Folks need to realize that there isn't much difference between the 2 anymore. Bush would be another train wreck as will any dipshitdemocrat

Why should the Bush namesake be tainted any more than the Clinton namesake? Our current friends in the media. miles

I won't vote for a moderate simply because the talking heads and bias pollsters say that they are "the only one that can win"
They like to point out how the 3-4 million Conservative voters stayed home, but even with that added to the numbers, we still would have lost.
Whoever can articulate the conservative platform the best is the most electable, imo.
Bob is right in many ways though. Right now, we shouldn't even be talking 2016. We have to get through 2014. The Senate has to be won, and the house has to be shored up... So you voted for Newt last time? Mike

What has Cruz done beyond words? Sort of like most lawyers? Unlike you and your barrister buddies, he knows the "right" words.

Scottm, Between a Bush and a Clinton? It's Bush without question. He was a good Governor. I agree with his mom-- there has to someone out there besides those two, who can be President.
