Went "old school" on this 7X6 this morning...definately the pinnacle of all the hunting I've done in the past 45 years.. Shot was eight yards. My heart was in my throat....hell, it still is!....grin!

Zwickey? Yep, Black Diamond. Arrow was just barley sticking out the off side. Shortest front point is 19 1/2", longest is 22". Mainbeams are 55 1/2" on both sides.

Casey I use Easton XX75's, 2317, fletched with turkey feathers. Bow is a Black Widow takedown with 75# limbs.

Arrow went in this side, and broke off when he rolled. He only went 40 yards after the arrow hit him. I didn't see him go down, but heard him crash....things were popping and snapping. I estimate he weighed close to 1000 pounds. Largest bodied elk I've ever seen.
