Just returned from hunt #4 two months ago, and wishing I were still there. Always interested in what other folks are planning, when, to where, and for what species, and of course what weaponry will accompant them.
I am considering a hunt in Mozambique for Cape Buffalo in 2016, where are you all headed?
I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave....

Back to Limpopo in S.A., with the same folks I hunted with this past summer (Cruiser safaris).....hope to go after zebra, waterbuck, warthog, and blesbok the second time around (maybe a hartebeest as well). Weaponry? My .338 Win. mag (Ruger 77) will go again, but I'm thinking of taking my 6.5x55 Swedish M96 the next time. Hope to get back by 2017 at the latest!

Heading for Mozambique in 2015 for Cape Buffalo, Sable, Waterbuck and ???.
Went to RSA 5 years ago for plains game and want to go back one more time. That time I took a Remington .338 Win Mag for Impala, Nyala, Warthog, Bushbuck, Blesbuck, Oryx, Blue Wildebeast and Kudu.
For Mozambique, I just picked up a Dakota 76 African in .416 Rigby. I will probably take a NULA in 7x57, as well, for the smaller stuff.

Since I am doing brown bear in 2016 it will likely be 2017 for Africa. Buffalo, likely in Zim. Rifle will be my 416 Rem M70.

Back to Limpopo with Louis at Spiral Horn Safaris for a buff. That will be my third trip with Louis. The guy rocks... (Not sure when, yet).

Trip number 9 looking for leopard number three...Namibia next year.
Year after that will probably be Moz for a lion...unless I switch those two due to the current lion clusterfluck!

2016, I'll be going for Nyala, probably in Kwazulu Natal, South Africa I hunted Nyala in Natal this year. We passed on bulls that we would probably have taken elsewhere.

I want to go back to South Africa and hunt Cape Buffalo with Pieter Kriel. When depends upon how quickly I can afford it.

Well, if I could afford to go again, it would be back to Zim. I'd go back to the Omay North with Martin Pieters, and hunt Lake Kariba for a monster Hippo, and maybe an out sized croc. Then I'd transfer south and look for an eland and a bush pig. Unfortunately, I don't see it happening...... maddog

Will travel to RSA next April 2015 to hunt with Huntersgame safaris near Kimberley. I will be accompanied by my wife and only grandchild, Aidan, who will be 13 at that time. This will be our 3rd trip to RSA and perhaps the last. My bucket list includes New Zealand for Tahr and Red Stag. These I want to take before I am too old to climb those blasted steep mountains. MTG

I've about decided to take a "buddy hunt" with a SA PH of my acquaintance. We would tour with only a general plan using his contacts to search out bargains and interesting opportunities, never really knowing from day to day where we would end up next. In the end it may or may not save money, but would add a element of free spirited/ free lance adventure.
Life begins at 40. Recoil begins at "Over 40" Coincidence? I don't think so.

I expect Ingwe will be doing his next safari in Montana.
