Learn how to hunt, instead of just shoot and 2650 fps is more than you'll ever need. JHC, we've killed megatons of deer here with smoothbore shotguns and slugs. It don't take a rocket scientist.

That makes me happy. The more of you guys buy Sierra, the less competition there is for bullets I prefer.

My buddy used Sierra bullets on a hunt this year on a hunt most people would think he was crazy for doing.

I've only killed a handful of big game with Sierras, but witnessed many more Sierra kills. Have never seen problems. Have seen jacket/core separation, but it was at the end of the wound channel. Like others, I like their price, as well as their accuracy and ease of load work-up. The tangent ogive is very friendly! They are not a bullet for high impact speeds, I assume, but that isn't a problem for me.

I'm torn in talking them up, because they are often in short supply, and I don't want any more competition for their purchase. So please: buy Barnes. Barnes are awesome for deer. Barnes, Barnes, Barnes.
