I know a Green Beret from Vietnam who won't talk about his service and damn sure wouldn't post pics on the internet. We will have to see what Jorge has to say... I know why he doesn't speak about it. An uncle of mine I have the utmost respect for.
I find it is pretty common within the ranks of the SpecOps community to not show pics and keep their mouths shut as to what they do...probably the type of person it takes to get through the training and all that goes with it...
Thank your uncle for me please. quite a bit different than the issue here with certain bravado and then refusal, eh? The SpecOps that you refer to actually did OPS, rather than allowing people the "think" they were badass. I think TAK's 'problem' if you will, is less about what he's done (and thanks for it) and more about his delivery.

And I will say it again...20th group guard or active duty, they go through the SAME training and meet the same requirements. No sign reading required.
I have a friend from college who is in the reserves as a PJ...is he less of a PJ/SpecOps warrior than an active duty PJ?
The answer is a resounding NO. And I will ask this: if I asked them the simple question of whether they were reserves/guard or active duty, would they just simply answer, or be an evasive weenie for a really, really long time? I never said the guy didn't go through school, I have just questioned the extent of his exploits. I've dealt with several reservists from Minnesota that were in Desert Storm/Desert Shield as MP's. They served honorably, but feel the need to sit in the bar and tell amazing stories. I know they are amazing because I was way ahead of them, and my experiences were not exactly movie material. TAK reminds me of those guys. He is quick to point out his personal exploits, yet evasive regarding what units he served with and when. Ya can't have it both ways and expect people to believe you.

I would venture, on internet forums, lots of things aren't as they seem....
Just look at the bravado present in this thread...the usual gang attacking someone who isn't part of the "group." Would think men of such prestige and high esteem wouldn't act like HS kids.

MANY times. Master Parachute badge. 1st round go in Jumpmaster School. Scored a 99 on JMPI. You do realize how odd it is that you are willing to throw out certain specifics like this, yet you won't simply state guard or regular army, don't you? I was 11B2P on active duty and 18B/18D in the Guard and Reserves. Jorge will soon reveal all. I told him I'd send him whatever documents he wants to see and he said he could validate them. Why are you dragging this schitt out? To hell what anyone thinks of your service, I never served, I'll be the first to thank you for your service, but I'm not getting this juvenile pissing match, trying to convince people how worthy your service was compared to somebody else's. It's getting embarrassing. I always thought more of veterans than this crap, who gives a damned where you served doing what...you served, that is all that should matter, be truthful of your service and be proud of it, what is with all the cat and mouse and chest pounding??
