Here is the deal: you've talked a lot of smack. You are a subject matter expert on most anything .mil or so it seems. You want to bet that you can prove you were WHAT?????
So, let's try this:
Were you active duty or reserves/guard? You talk like you were a ninja on active duty all over the world. Nobody is going to bet you that you can't produce papers that prove you were in the National Guard SF.
At least you've admitted that you don't have a CIB on your 214. That's a start.
Now, let's just clarify what you did, who you were with, and move on.
OR, claim you were active duty SF, claim your MOS was a sniper on active duty, and we've got us a bet.

First and foremost, thank you for your service. But when the 20th group gets called up and sent abroad, for whatever reason (like training for FID)...they are still GBs doing their mission, whether in direct combat or otherwise as the SOCOM directs them.
Wait, I'm pretty sure I said I had an 03 MOS, and an 01 MOS. I am also pretty sure I didn't claim to be recon/SF/delta/sniper/ninja or anything else besides, what was the word I used....VANILLA.
It isn't about me bud. I got a CAR on my DD214. Received and returned small arms fire. Then I got the fugg out and became a nurse. I don't have self-esteem issues related to my job. I ain't claiming to be billy-badass. YOU, however, have claimed expertise in about anything related to .mil ever talked about here on 24HC.

I know that. I figured he was Guard, as evidenced by my reply to his bet offer. I have not maligned the NG or the NG SF.
I am just not impressed with TAK on any level. His tone and style of discourse screamed that he didn't have a CIB and wasn't in combat as SF. I asked a bunch of questions that were avoided for a long time, but, eventually was proven correct.

HAJ, when you and I first PM'ed quite awhile ago, didn't I tell you I was retired out of the 20th SF?
To be honest, I don't recall. Without looking it up I can't confirm nor deny that. I've been so over exposed to that kind of thing that I tend to pay it little to no attention.
I'm on my cell now so looking that up is annoying. I'll double check tomorrow when I am back on my computer
