Won't get a lot in style points, but you will not be disappointed in the function. They flat out shoot....if they had a 243 or 7-08 or 260 I'd buy my third SL, but I've got a lightweight bug.
At sportsman's today where they have the Tikka T3's Super Lite on sale for 649 out the door with my military discount!. Sale ends Wed!
223 22-250 270 WSM 7 mm mag 30-06 300 Win mag
Caliber wise I have everything covered from 17 hornet to 460 Weatherby. Including a 1:8 223 rem BTW.
But almost too good to pass up!
What to do!
I would have no problem saying no. Six hundred forty nine dollars still buys quite few bags of quality groceries. Since you do not need another rifle by buying one you're basically throwing your money away.
For under $300 each, a little bedding epoxy and trigger tweaks I have 4 used rifles that shoot like that. M98, Rem725, and two Ruger 77s. They are likely better than my 500 yard limit. True, they are all beat up and/or ugly!
Fotis........why do I get the impression you are a rifle loonies.
I picked up a 223 1/8 twist super lite and I'm liking shooting this thing. They also seem very sought after so I know its a rifle I'll be able to make money on in the future if I so ever choose which I doubt I will.
