Looking for one with above average walnut. The listings on the usual sites don't do much for me.

Anyone have a lead on one in a LGS?

I have cash in hand, or a NIB Montana in the same caliber as trade bait.

I have had three 280 AI built. to get the benefit of the AI, a barrel longer than 23.5 inches would make sense. suggest 25 or 26 inches.

If I was running a RUM a 26" barrel would make sense.

No .30-06 based case needs a barrel longer than 24", and most do well as short as 22".

If I wanted Magnum performance, I'd buy a Magnum cartridge.

Still looking.
