I've been toting this beauty almost daily for more than 6 months now. Its a bit on the large size but fits in the hand beautifully flips open like butter on a hot skillet. The Elmax steel is easy to sharped hair poppin' sharp and hold a sturdy edge. And the knife is a solid as a tire iron. Zero Tolerance has to be my favorite brand of knife ever since I got my first one about a year and a half ago. Just thought I would give a heads up on an awesome knife.
That was the factory edge. I ran it with the factory edge and just occasionally stropped it for the first few months since it was supper sharp to start with. I use a lansky to sharped it now.

That Elmax steel is impressive stuff. My EDC, an Alan Davis liner lock, sports an Elmax blade. I've had it for more than a year, haven't abused it but it's seen honest use. I never let it get dull and flip it on a strop every so often. If I can see the edge I just keep flipping it on the strop. Eventually the edge "vanishes".
Dude! Where did you get a orange farmer? Its awesome! I have carried a farmer everyday for the last 2 years. Most practical knife ever. I just wish it had a bail like a wenger standard issue instead of the split ring.

Does your Alox Farmer have brass liners or not...?
I found one of the red Farmers a few years ago in a pawn shop and bought it - much better knife than the old style Swiss Army Knives with the red plastic handles.
