Never been a Super Bowl game I cared less about or one I enjoyed more.

Ask Belichick and the other 30 NFL coaches who weren't in the SB what they would have done if in Pete's shoes. Bet they would have done what a lot of the posters here are saying what play(running) should have been called.

That behavior IS their dynasty.

Sure, there's chance involved in everything, but having the smarts to see it through is what separates a Henry Ford/Thomas Edison from some guy who just throws crap at the wall to see what sticks.

That was, hands down, one of the dumbest play calls in the HISTORY of pro football. You got three plays left and either Russell Wilson to sneak in the ball or Lynch to run it in. What kind of moron chooses to pass up the middle with that much on the line???

BTW, it was just as stupid for the Pats to score on 2nd down in the previous drive just before the two minute warning. They could have run an additional play, burned the clock down to 1:30, and THEN scored. Seattle didn't get down near the endzone until 20 seconds were left. They might not have ever come that close if Brady/Belichick would have simply had the smarts to run another 30 seconds off the clock.

Pete's now claiming that he was planning to win on a 3rd down play, with Lynch.

And now comparing this loss to his loss to Texas in the National Championship game. Priceless!

I DON'T disagree with you at all.

BUT, I can't stand to see a MAN, much that I dislike the team, take the heat for taking a chance on a play.

THE MAN, who has more balls than most on here, had a decision to make.

In 10 seconds. The other 10 being sent to the QB.

That would define his life.

I hear you....but that coksuuker cheated his way to national championships in college and is trying to do the same now. I'll wish he loses every fuucin' game that he coaches for the rest of his life. Seattle had time outs remaining. Why not use one to get everybody on the same page, make sure you have the right play call and personnel, and then go back out and execute?

Well I was going for the guys with the white shirts, and they won so thats good. Those black guys certainly seem rather excitable. I think this is the first Superbowl I've watched in 10 years. Would this rate as an average,poor or good game?

dude the guy made a chit phuggin call.....he is paid not to make chit phuggin calls in such situations....he gambled when there was no reason to....no matter who is writing the book that is stupidity.....

I have another reason to hate the seahawks. Michael Crabtree is a Tech alum and so am I. I met him and got his autograph and he's a great kid. He deserved nothing that Sherman gave him last year and I only want bad stuff to happen to Sherman from then on. Just human nature....nothing else. I also hope his kid is born with three feet or three hands or three eyes......or something like that. Nothing personal. LOL.
