Exactly.
That's why you been dumped.
BUT, the plus is you been able to tour AUS.
You made the call.
You went with the result.
NOW, you're callin [bleep] on a MAN that made HIS call.
Hope your meds are in order.
Have fun.

I went ahead and played the teaser.
I bet 500 and with that bet I get Pats plus 7 and over 41 on total points scored.
I also bet 200 bucks on the Pats to win, straight up.
A profitable night. Congrats!!

Allow me to clear the air here, if you would.
If Pete Carrol, who I do not know, came upon me in a bar, and started [bleep], I'd choke him out, if I could.
That's not where my posts are directed.
I apologize for my posts, if anyone felt that I was supporting the hawks.
HOWEVER, I AM supporting any man, or woman, that takes a shot in a sporting event, or other event of import, that evinces their best efforts to promote the goals of that particular side of the contest, within the rules, towards the goal of success.
That support will be unwavering.
The first rule, as has been taught to me, is that anything can happen.
And it can.
But that does not diminish in any way, my support for the person that "makes the call", and takes the responsibility for the result.
Had the play called succeeded, in this case, we'd not be having this discussion.
But, I will not waver in my support of a person making a call, no matter the outcome, and no matter the second-guessers, who have never guessed wrong, as evidenced on this forum.

Uuhhh...I'm not sure that "cleared the air" quite the way you wanted.
I'd advise letting it to. Again.

I DON'T disagree with you at all.
BUT, I can't stand to see a MAN, much that I dislike the team, take the heat for taking a chance on a play.
THE MAN, who has more balls than most on here, had a decision to make.
In 10 seconds. The other 10 being sent to the QB.
That would define his life.
He made it.
There is no looking back.
Unless you're 4loser, or someone who's omniscient.
Those are a dime a dozen here.
HOLY SHIDT!, why doesn't the net hire these A$$holes for head coaches?
Cause they can't take the results, that's why.
Course, I'm guessin. Um, you do realize that there are stupid plays in sports, right? If I leave the net to play the puck in the Cup finals while my team is killing a power play in OT, turn it over and get scored on only an idiot that doesn't understand the position gives me credit for "taking a shot" A dumb play is a dumb play at any level

Wow!
Not a Seahawks fan, more of an NFC fan, a little. No dog in the fight, sort of wished Seattle would win.
Got to hand it to Patriots, they came to play, they covered Seahawk receivers well. Close game, could have gone either way.
Neither coach, nor either QB is an idiot, if they were, they wouldn't be at the Superbowl.
Great game, right down to the end. With my 20/20 hindsight, I would advise Carroll to have Lynch run it in.
Frankly, if he was taking my advice, neither one of us would be at the Superbowl.
I turned off the game at the interception, so didn't see any antics.

...Actually Sycamore, you are sort of right....

I'm a lifelong Seattle sports fan and all i can say was that it was one HELL of a game and the only thing anyone should be mad about was that stupid mini brawl. I'm glad Bruce Irvin apologized for his behavior but it still wasn't good. Now, get ready for baseball season! Go Mariners!
Keep your eye on the fruit........

The guy doesn't understand that the higher you go, the less stupid mistakes you should see.
The fact that it was the freaking super bowl and NOT a high school game makes it a zillion times worse

Face it, if that pass had been caught for a touchdown, Carrol would have been the smartest coach in history. It was the call that nobody expected. The DB that intercepted the ball had no idea what was happening until about 1/2 second before the ball arrived.
I had low expectations, not a fan of ether team, but that was a good game. I agree, the rookie that intercepted that pass should have been MVP, because after 59 minuets and 40 seconds, HE single handedly won the game for he Patriots.
