... When a defense can't hold a lead, it puts extra pressure on the offense to score enough points to win and sometimes that doesn't happen. I realize the last call could have been the difference between a win and a loss but it would have been immaterial if the defense had done their job, or done what they did during the regular season. They simply didn't execute. That is a very good observation. It seems like defense always gets a pass and the offense gets the blame. Offense wins games, defense is supposed to keep you from losing them.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

If everyone would just throw their emotion and biases aside for one moment, we could all agree..... Only the Green Bay Packers could have beaten the Patriots yesterday.   I think our guy could have produced some questionable play calls too. That will forever be one of the sports world's great abstract mysteries....

Who takes home the Lombardi trophy? Like I said last year defense wins championships..none better than the Hawks. I especially liked this one. I cant wait until 6:00 pm on Sunday after the Re-Pete, I'm sure most of the Haters will be crying and turn into crickets. In fact I'm guaranteeing a Hawks victory. BOOK IT!  I wonder if he offered to cover all betting losses like Namath did in Super Bowl III?

I am still in disbelief that an offensive coach or head coach would tell Wilson to throw the ball at that point and risk a Superbowl win.

It didn't make me any difference as to who would be the winner but in watching this particular game....I had never witnessed a call such as what went down....especially when the Hawks had Lynch who was gaining anywhere from 4-8 yards per carry!! And it was only 2nd down!
