We just got through getting a report from Mark's surgeon. They are having a difficult time getting his blood pressure up. We are waiting for them to bring him up to ICU.
The surgeon is stumped and could use God's wisdom in knowing what to do. His blood pressure was fine right after surgery and then it took a nose dive. He is talking and in good spirits.

On a lighter note, did the surgeon rub a thin coat on the gasket before installing the new filter?

W I'm not a fan of safariman, and I wish him no ill will, but the last thing on my mind while wife/husband is in life altering/threatening surgery, is to get on the "hunter's bashfire" and give a play by play. This chit is funnier than ph uck. Clyde Probably a bad time to say a prayer, huh?  Hey wait. I think ive heard of folks praying for someone in sx before maybe. I bolded the above. I thought there was supposed to be a live webcam of this event??? That's funny. Did Mark want one? They got a movie of my transplant. But they wouldn't let me watch it! BTW, I've kept track through the day at work but could not post. Lifted him up several times.

My T+1day BP was wicked low of 80/45. I didn't leave the ICU because of it. It happens. He'll be fine in no time. But I know it is stressful for you.

I once came to in an Ambulance with an EMT standing over me with a charged set of paddles. She was screaming he's got no heartbeat or blood pressure!
Sure scared the chit out of me! When I got to the ER, my BP was 50 over 30. Luckily, I had survived a heat stroke.

It's going up and down, but they are keeping a close eye on everything...especially his heart. He's sleeping now..at least until they come in again for their hourly check in. One of the babes came in, checked my blood pressure, and got all fretty — 60/50. Suddenly, a gaggle of gals fretted jitterly on my left, talking to others on my right. "I'd like to get him into bed," one of 'em said to the others on the other side of me. "I've waited years to hear a woman say that about me," I said. Nobody so much as grinned. Within minutes, my BP went back up to its usual 120/80, and it has stayed within that vicinity for over 13 years now. Sherri, we'll see you both down here at the Campfire rendezvous in July. Hugs await. Guaranteed!
