I'm not a fan of safariman, and I wish him no ill will, but the last thing on my mind while wife/husband is in life altering/threatening surgery, is to get on the "hunter's bashfire" and give a play by play.
This chit is funnier than ph uck.

I bolded the above. Just for clarification. But, you gotta admit, with his track record, the narcissism meter is pegged with me.

And...... that's supposed to change things how?
You don't know me. I'm quite a nice guy. Just don't suffer thieves or elder abuse all that well.

Why don't you just keep your opinion to yourself, Mr. Nice Guy.
The Mayans had it right. If youre going to predict the future, its best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.
We just got through getting a report from Mark's surgeon. They are having a difficult time getting his blood pressure up. We are waiting for them to bring him up to ICU.
The surgeon is stumped and could use God's wisdom in knowing what to do. His blood pressure was fine right after surgery and then it took a nose dive. He is talking and in good spirits.
Stumping a surgeon isn't hard, actually. Surgeons are paid to cut, not to manage complex physiological processes. But don't worry, I'm sure the internists and intensivists who run the ICU will figure it out.

Sure hope everyone is going well this morning. Prayers sent.
Mark's BP has stabilized and the medical staff [hope I said this right, Doc Rocket] is very pleased with how the new kidney is functioning. The RN took him off the last of his BP medicine at 3:00 a.m. and his vitals look great! This is such a relief and wonderful answer to prayer.
They plan to keep him for another 3-4 days and move him out of CCU some time today. They are adjusting his medications and watching to make sure his body is not rejecting his new kidney.
Vicky and her family visited us this morning. She is doing exceptionally well and was able to walk. God is so faithful! We appreciate our "Fire" friends and the prayers you are speaking on our behalf!

Amen. How's my buddy?
Hey Kevin, You're buddy is doing great overall! He's tired, sore, hungry, and carrying a lot of extra water weight, but nothing out of the ordinary for post-op. Thanks for caring and praying
