Hmmmm.
700+ posts in a month and a half.
Claims to be a LEO and a "counter sniper".
Consistently abbrasive.
Threatens veteran posters.
Picks up his ball and goes home,then comes back and stirs up more trouble.
This all screams either 12 year old on summer vacation or someone who definetly isn't an LEO.
If they are an LEO,they are slacking off on the job and need to have some anger managment classes.

I agree with HG.. No rule says we have to post all our vital info and if we don't feel comfortable letting all that lurk read our personal info then that's our choice. I believe in the integrity of being accountable by using my name.
Is their a security threat from doing that on the Internet? I doubt it. If any of us are targeted by someone good enough get all our info and handle is no security blanket.

I think that it might be time to go fishing.... I think the guy needs to get out the house more-he's averaging 20-21 posts a day. I post as much as anyone here,and during the same period of time he's been posting here,I averaged about 6 posts per day. Chances are he's no 12 year old since he's obviously very knowledgeable about the constitution.Of course so was I when I was that age and had to study it every day to graduate junior high school,FWIW........ WB.

You're upset with people taking potshots at you from behind handles--specifically potshots like this one, where I called you "the Law" and (you seem to suspect) cast aspersions on your integrity regarding such things as the misuse of identity information. Right? However, you're implying by your objection (and by your use of the term "coward") that if you did know who I was, I wouldn't have the courage to make a remark like that...and the only reason I can think of that you might think I would be afraid to would be the danger that you might track me down and punish me for it. Which is precisely the point made by my remark about you in the first place. Isn't that embarrassing? I've only had one negligent discharge in my life so far (double slamfire from a MAS 49/56)...but when I did, I didn't just keep blasting away. I immediately packed the gun up and took it home, and I didn't shoot anymore until I had done a fair amount of thinking about the whys and wherefores of it.

I use a handle because it has taken me almost three years to get myself back from an identity theft, from an internet forum. I do not use my own name, nor do I puchase any thing by credit card on the internet. I use a nick that I feel discribes me and in fact I have been recognised by it on a few of the other boards I frequent. I guess being a retired blind cop is unique in a way.

No doubt he's "skewed" in unique way <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and I think his ideas on government are completely unrealistic. Regardless, he is a solid, reliable individual who shoots straight, and the Higher Authority has already exempted him from the coming judgment. Barak is not one who needs to be an enemy, and he is one of the few guys that can strongly disagree with you and still be aimacable towards you.

Well, I have to admit it, I went & wussied out, just can't see advertising who I am and where I live any longer, just doesn't make sense. I reverted back to an old nickname from twenty years ago.
There are only about ten other people in the country with my last name, all in CA, & all related...just too damn easy.

Funny....I don't have a single problem with anyone on this site, even the azzholes......boring as they may be, even in their expertise, it's the Me Too Dogs that always get me laughing....and shaking my head in embarassment.
Mr. B is harmless, and relatively rational....and although I don't always agree with him....you'd never find him hitting below the belt with idle name-calling, and endless chit-talk...he is who he is....and never needs a "Me Too Dog" to back him up....he is his own man...and anyone is free to take it or leave it.
In the end, when everything is hashed out, unless you know the person...we are just all internet personalities...live and let live.
