Love your rifles Jud. I have one in 30-378 Improved (holds130 grains of water). I was working on loads last weekend, and with 103 grains of Retumbo I got a Berger 230 OTM scooting along at 3150 fps. The only thing "Weatherby" left on it is the action. It's in a McMillan stock, has a 28" Krieger barrel, Vais brake and a Timney trigger.

The pard and I bought the first 2 ultra lightweights that came into town years ago, mine a 257, his a 270 Roy, both get fed factory fodder, plenty accurate and kill like a bastard. Plenty accurate for someone who "hunts", both have provided great service and have lotsa kills. Perry funny one year in montana a one pard had his remmy 700, the other a kimber montucky, both the triggers froze up tighter than a frog s jazz... the Roy s worked flawlessly.. Laura could suck my dick til my eyes rolled back and I still wouldn't slum a kimber.. watched a pard let a 185" plus buck get away cause him and based Mon t u c my wouldn't feed. I was watching through the swaros waiting for him to shoot, I kept hearing click, click.... wtf?? Dream buck gone!! He sent it backto the factory with as hate letter, they sent it back stating it was a common problem!!! Lmao really? $1200 rifle that won't feed?? Wow... he tripped it, bought a 700 lss 257 Roy, put it in a McMillan and hasnt looked back.

You're not gonna believe this but I'm not a fan of either, gasp. Easy enough to make groceries without one. So you are all fullaschit.

So far all I've shot is paper and a couple of coyotes. I enjoy Turkey hunting more than any other hunting. We hunt a private farm in central IL. The owner's wife doesn't like Turkeys or Coyotes, so she has been letting me and my wife & kids hunt there for 11 years. Just lately me and a buddy have gone out some evenings and try to catch some Coyotes moving and hunting nocturnally. Haven't had much luck yet. She loves her Deer though; we're not allowed to shoot any deer. That's why she want's the Coyotes killed - Deer predation. It's a small price to pay for a free private place to Turkey hunt.

He'll Ya thatll work. I love this time of the year, all the farmers are cuttin hay, coyotes are thick mousin. I gotta little sps 204 I drive around and smack em with. Never got into Turkey hunting, shot as few though. Folks love it I know! If you like turkeys you need to go to t he clearwater area in idaho, lots of em over there!!
