If you drove down West Broadway in North Mpls, the number of Illinois and Indiana license plates was more than noticeable.

We used to have an office in Minnesota several years ago. I'd go up there maybe twice a year. I went once the first week in January - that was bullschitt, but any time I went in summer it was pleasant. I seem to remember an old factory downtown - I want to say it was an old flour mill but my memory isn't great, and walking around there, going to restaurants. It felt safe and I thought the town was nice.

That was before they started importing Somali's.

I love my ability to literally walk out my door to fish walleyes on some of the best Walleye waters in America, fish Crappies, shoot grouse, shoot ducks, shoot geese, drive for miles and miles on gravel roads and never see a house or a farm or even a human, I love the fact that I can go just about anywhere on my ATV, I love being able to drive just a few minutes from my house and shoot clays, pistols and rifles on both public and private gravel pits, I love just about everything geographically and the semi-remoteness that is MN.
