Yota about like the 6.5 Creedmoor.
Both are good things, but some owners thinking the are the only thing, & they never hesitate to tell you they have one.

Re: HIMS Online Pharmacy Founder Praises Protests

I have been busy so I really haven’t been following this. So the protesters are protesting the fact that Israel killed 34,000 people in retaliation of the Hamas attack? And they are basically sick of Israel being allowed to slaughter people because they can? Would you like to have this conversation? If so, what is the proper response to the Palestinian-Hamas attack and their still holding innocent people hostage? From my seat, it seems like there are 3 basic responses. Do nothing. Tit for tat. Remove their capacity to carry out such attacks FOREVER.I guess he didn't want to have the conversation. Scroll to bottom of your post I quoted.

Re: Another approach.....

Mel Forbes might of said it Aussie, but I remember John Sundra writing something very similar: “there isn’t much you can’t do with a 150-gr bullet at 3000 fps” (slight paraphrase mine).
If I remember the gist of the article it was in correctly, the subject was his own 7mm JRS, essentially a morphed 280 if II recall correctly.
As it is, at the end of my big game hunting career, except for deer, and with waving many rifle/cartridge combo’s down the road, I’m left with a little custom 284 Win with which my experience agrees completely with Forbes and Sundra.
I’m not a long range shooter or hunter. The bullets I’ve been using with good effect are the pointy 140-gr TTSX at around 3150 but the old C&C Hornady 139-gr BTSP’s G1 BC is (surprisingly to me) is very close and has never not had a good rep for deer and such. Even elk.
And I have a lot of them. GDV, I am not as familiar with Sundra's work as he wasn't well known in my background, just an odd article here and there so I know who he is, but whomever, the reason the comment stayed with me was that I have been using that 140/2900 combo since 1981 when I started my thereafter, life long support and usage of it. I still have 7x57, 280Ackley and 7mm Rem and have previous experience with the 7mmSTW with a straight 9 kills for 8 shots (including a twofer) so there will be no negative input from me other than to confirm the equal footing for the obviously common opinion.

Burns,
You might want some back up. RIO7 No I don't. Which makes it impossible. Bell whacked them by the 100s with the little version of 6.5mm with no backup. I just want one bull with out any backup but without becoming an international criminal it's not going to happen.

I've had 2 or 3, still have one. Mine says "Target Bulldog .44 Special" on the left side of the barrel, Charter Arms Corp, Stratford, Conn on the right side. Serial Number is on the lower right side, just above the trigger guard - 737544. Original wood grips. It IS my "bedside gun", and does a lot of woods walking with me, also. One of the last firearms I'd ever let go.
Mike Holmes It's got the adjustable sights, right? I've been tempted to get one of those.

Macron says that French troops and troops from other NATO member countries could could be sent to Ukraine under certain conditions. The conditions he stated were if Russia broke through the front lines and if Ukraine’s leaders asked for that assistance.
