I had a 2011 Accord LX that I sold in July of 2022 that had 256,000 miles on it. Regular maintenace and a couple of minor repairs. The guy that bought it was very happy to get it.

Spring here this morning

Got one ! Tried to start this thread a few months back but got no participants .
Bought as a budget 22wmr for plinking and range . Bolt pretty rough and hard bolt lift . One of two mags sent back
because it would not lock in . New mag worked fine . Function tested after second time deburring and polishing bolt.
Bolt smoothed out but had very hard bolt lift after dry firing . Just got it back from Savage ( 3 months ) and bolt lift is somewhat improved .
almost ready for the range . Hoping it will loosen up with use . Feeds and ejects properly with both mags .
Maybe yours will require less attention out of box .
Unfortunately I just discovered the Henry Magnum Express and would have payed the price for that had I known it existed .

I want to say it was Mule Deer who did a write up on loading for an M1. One of his recipes as I recall was 48 grains of Varget with a 150 grain soft point. That is the one I used to load for my M1's and Springfields. It's got a noticeable buck in the Springfields but not so noticeable in the M1's. Nicely accurate in both.
