Hold the phone, guys. There was method to McConnell's madness.
He knew that defunding was going to be voted down. That is, the no votes were going to prevail, no matter what he did.
His no vote puts him on the prevailing side. Since he is on the prevailing side, he can now require a re-vote.
that is patent bullchit. McConnell has zero credibility, and zero track record of trying, let alone succeeding, to prevent ANY obama plan or action.
