If you're set on using that Remington action, there's no way I'd fugk with a FB.
If I have a really good day (north of 300) I soak it in Hoppes for about 8 hours, then that foam cleaner schit for a day. Just like my .22 cal stuff.
The fouling issues are a total myth IME.
