Just a Hunter Campfire Tracker J Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 7,186 MT	I have just recently shot one in 30-06. It was the worst kicking 06 I have ever shot. The recoil pad was very hard rubber that narrowed towards the back. It was like driving a wedge into my shoulder. I would rather shoot my 300 H&H with a steel buttplate. The fella who owns it is a new shooter and was having trouble with consistant accuracy. He now has a Limbsaver on it. From what he says he is shooting much better now.
