Had to pull out of Maine early due to a bad cold.
But not before I killed a 10 pointer that dressed 210. So I get another patch from the State of Maine.
He showed pretty suddenly,as they always do,and all I could see was the top third of the body. High shoulder shot,off hand at 70-80 yards broke his back. Lung shot to finish.

When I left there had been 4 (!) bucks over 200 pounds dressed weight killed in the first day and a half. They had started to move!
