I hunted the Oxbow area in Aroostook County near Lake Umcolcus, took my buck as he was crossing a log yard on Great Northern Paper Company land. My guide was a cruiser/surveyor for the paper company and owned a camp in the area, therefor he was really familiar with the territory. He had seen big bucks frequenting the area and was a great help in putting me in productive territory in the big woods.
