Thinking about a name brand cut rifle that will be spiral fluted with one of these,
Sendero
2b
3b
Light Palma
Which would fill the barrel channel fairly good and not be nose heavy?
I only have personal experience with a Brux 3 fluted and a Bartlein light Palma.
Most interested in he 2 and 3 b
The ones that end with b are obviously Bartlein contours and since they've got that goofy numbering system that's different than everyone else you have to know what they represent.
Their #2b is about like everyone else's #3
Their #3 is about like everyone else's #4
Their #3b is about like everyone else's #5
10 lbs with a short action and a 22" fluted barrel is a lot to work with. I'd think you could stay under that with a sendero contour, especially considering you want to use a stock inletted for that already. Getting smaller from that the next option would be the #3b.
