Never got the hint and don't duck much, just take it as it comes. Could have been I thought maybe you went "up" and not down. Just hard for me to go the 17 caliber route when coyotes are what this gun would be used for 99.99% of the time. I am sure it will work fine but those quartering away dogs leave me leary. Kilt 1 cat in my time and never have even shot at a fox........ YET!!!
