Both are great rounds but given those two choices I like the 222 (for Coyotes)....matter of fact....222's the only centerfire I own that isn't a 17cal....as far as noise goes....17Rem...17FB...221...222...I like em all and you'll never notice the difference...choose the one you like and the right bullet and go hunting....luck
22-250 and 6mm Remmy are my "Go-to" guns but itching to try a quiet round I can watch the hits with.
