Savage 99EG's weren't exactly inexpensive when they were made.

Not at the time.. but they've been able to be had at bargain prices the last 20+ years (in 300 Savage at least). grin

Inexpensive things when new that last forever? Lee reloading equipment comes to mind.


Unfortunately I"ve not had that luck with Lee. But then we used to pretty much abuse our stuff, loading typically more ammo than most, 20,000 or more a year typically. SOmetimes likely pushing 30,000.

Back to normal now, probably don't load more than 500 or so rounds a year.
